Chino (Charles Bronson) is a lonely horse breeder in New Mexico whose life changes when he agrees to take in a teenage runaway (Vincent Van Patten) and begins to teach him his trade.
Trivia: John Sturges was a prolific director whose credits include, The Magnificent Seven, Last Train from Gun Hill, and Bad Day at Black Rock (for which he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Director). Charles Bronson is best known for starring in the Death Wish movie series. Jill Ireland and Charles Bronson met on the set of The Great Escape and later married. Vincent Van Patten is the son of actor Dick Van Patten.
