Two soldiers of fortune in the American southwest of the early 20th century tool around the country in a Stutts-Bearcat luxury auto selling their services to affluent clients in return for a blank check, with the fee for services to be determined upon completion of the job.
Trivia: This TV movie was the pilot for the short-lived TV series Bearcats. Shot on location in Tucson AZ and Santa Fe, NM. Accomplished Director Douglas Heyes was also a prolific screenwriter, he wrote the screenplay for the miniseries, North and South, Captains & Kings, as well as many episodes for the 1970s western TV series, The Barbary Coast. Actor Rod Taylor (Hank Brackett) co-starred with John Wayne in 1973's The Train Robbers; he also played the role of Winston Churchill in the 2009 movie Inglorious Bastards. Dennis Cole (Johnny Reach) was married to Charlie's Angels star Jaclyn Smith for a short time. Luciana Paluzzi (Juanita Sierra-Perez) starred in the James Bond film Thunderball, narrowly missing out on the leading role and instead playing the secondary role of Fiona Volpe, a villain's girlfriend.
