An Indian named Matsou (Ricardo Montalban) saves Ben's life and with his wife Hatoya (Madlyn Rhue), they nurse him back to help. Ben gives them some Ponderosa land to show his gratitude, But acquaintences from both sides begin to make trouble.
Ricardo Montalban and Madlyn Rhue guest starred together in the Star Trek episode "Space Seed" which was the basis for the film Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan. Karl Swenson starred in the 1980s TV series, Little House On The Prairie.
