I Killed Wild Bill Hickock (1957)
Director: Richard Talmadge
Runtime: 57 min.
A former outlaw seeks redemption but gets drawn back into gun play and treachery when he claims to have killed Wild Bill Hickok. But legends die hard in the Old West and so do liars.
Trivia: Wild Bill Hickok was one of the most legendary figures of the American frontier. He was a famous gunslinger known for his lightning-fast draw and expert marksmanship, often seen with twin Colt Navy revolvers worn butt-forward in a cross draw. As a Union scout and alleged spy during the Civil War, his exploits made him a national celebrity through dime novels and sensational press. His colorful life ended in 1876 when he was shot in the back while playing poker in Deadwood, South Dakota, holding two pairs of Aces and Eights, which would become known as the "Dead Man's Hand".
