Ben offers to help out his crippled neighbor Tom Edwards by building a grain mill on his ranch in return for 15% of the profit. Edwards is suspicious of Ben's motives, but agrees to the plan.

Trivia: John Rich directed hundreds of episodes of classic American television across genres, winning Emmy Awards for his work on both The Dick Van Dyke Show and All in the Family. In the 1980s, he co-created and produced the action series MacGyver. During World War II, Rich served as a navigator aboard B-17 bombers, flying combat missions over Europe with the U.S. Army Air Forces.
