Trivia: The Deadly Companions was Sam Peckinpah's directorial debut, he went on to make the classic western movie, "Ride the High Country" (1962). Maureen O'Hara is the well known as one of John Wayne’s leading ladies. She starred alongside Wayne in several films including McLintock and Big Jake. Brian Keith is best known for his leading role in the late 1960s TV series Family Affair, for which he won two Primetime Emmy nominations and a Golden Globe award. But he also starred in the TV series The Texan (1958-1960). Maureen O'Hara and Brian Keith co-starred in the The Parent Trap (1961) with Hayley Mills.
