John Abbott returns to his desert land and falls for a friend's daughter, Marian. When Marian flees the wedding and is captured by outlaws, Abbott and allies set out to rescue her.

Trivia: Russell Hayden (David Naab) starred as Pat Gallagher in the western TV series Cowboy G-Men. Sidney Toler is best known for playing Charlie Chan in a series of films that were released during the 1930s and 1940s. Director Lesley Selander directed over 100 western movies with this being one of the best of his early efforts. The movie is based on Zane Grey's novel of the same name, which was originally published in 1910.
