Young drifter Bob Clark (Bob Steele) comes to the aid of U.S. marshal Blyth (Jack Rockwell) in the middle of a shootout with some outlaws. Too wounded to pursue the gang, Blyth deputizes Clark and sends him out to hunt them down.

Trivia: Filmed back to back with No Man's Range, which uses pretty much the same cast.
